“Who eat and sing, stand up crazy”
(El que come y canta, loco se levanta).
This is the name of our first LP. The CD was recorded in Mexico City at Drum Heaven Studios. Guillermo Hernández was the sound engineer, who recorded and mixed the music. All the production was made by Not Made In China. Christian Wright from Abbey Road studios in London, England, did the mastering.
Mauricio León, Creative Director from the Eye Ball agency in New York helped us with the art, while Paola Llanos did the design of the pizza box.

Why Not Made In China?
The name of the band came up from our need to play and listen to music that is not made in mass production. The Internet, piracy, blogs and burned CD’s allow us to discover and share infinity of sounds and bands from all over the world that do not have spaces in traditional communication networks. It is in the conception of Not Made In China that we search the liberty to play all music styles and create the greater number of fusions that we can. Evolving from a progressive rock sound in our first demo into a more jazzy-funky style in our live sets, the band is always looking to adapt the music in what we like and what we are listening to.
